Yes, vintage means old. Plain and simple. For something to be considered “vintage”, you are basically saying that it has “seen better days.” I believe that living a ‘vintage lifestyle’ is more than just wearing old clothes and acting like you’re still living in the 60s. It’s essentially an easier way of living, a minimalistic approach to life and all the stress that comes with it.
I think that in America especially, the concept of vintage is particularly interesting. Whether you’re looking at old record albums, ‘worn an torn’ military uniforms, or a rusty old fixed-gear bike, any of these objects can be considered vintage.
